Today (12/09/2020) Barabazar PS, District- Purulia conducted Police Assistance Booth at Beldi Shabar School run by Barabazar Police Station and arranged lunched for them with the help of one NGO DUDHE-VATE. Police taught them the process of hand wash and use of mask and distributed few garments also for kids.
Dy. SP Traffic, Purulia donated shoes for Shabar kids of this school.

In this auspicious programme, Superintendent of Police, Purulia along with other Officers & Force felicitated to 14 numbers of COVID warriors of Purulia District Police with Medals & Certificates of Hon’ble Chief Minister, West Bengal. They have fought the battle of COVID-19 pandemic on behalf of the people and have survived the battle, despite an attack of the dreaded disease. Raj Bhagini Nivedita Vidyapith, Kashipur. He generally stands first in his class. His father runs his family by private tuition and working at a local MR shop with meagre income. Suddenly Souvik was inflicted with acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia and his father could not bear the expense of his treatment. His father sought kind help from SP Purulia. SDPO Raghunathpur donated cash on behalf of Purulia District Police for his medical treatment with an assurance of being with him in future to continue his treatment as well as study.
